Violence and Vandalism in Charlottesville Days After a Judge Rules Memorials Must Stay

BREAKING NEWS ALERT from our friends at the Gordonsville Grays, SCV Camp #2301

Many of you probably heard that the Lee and Jackson monuments in Charlottesville were damaged this week, just days after a judge ordered a PERMANENT injunction to prevent the city from destroying or removing them, and ruling that the monuments were protected by Virginia State Law (see info below for more details). The spray paint was removed from the LEE monument today, but remains on the Jackson monument, and upon closer inspection, it appears that someone has attempted to destroy the magnificent memorial by hammering away at the feet and faces on the front of the monument.
This is how the left operates. When they don't get their way, they result to violence, vandalism and criminal activity. We need your help to put a stop to this before it is too late.
Please call Parks & Rec at (434) 970-3260 and insist on expedited clean up and repair to the Jackson monument and updates on the progress.
Call the Charlottesville Police Department (434) 970-3280 and insist they protect BOTH monuments. If they can put officers there around the clock to prevent the (illegal) tarps from being removed, then they can certainly do the same to prevent them from being destroyed by the local communists.
*Detective Young is the person assigned to the case. We suggest leaving messages for Chief Brackney too.
Report from our friends at The Monument Fund, September 13:

"We will post a more in-depth synopsis of today’s proceeding next week, but we are elated and grateful to report that the monuments to Robert E. Lee and Thomas Jonathan “Stonewall” Jackson will continue to stand in Charlottesville, Virginia and that Judge Moore will award Attorney’s Fees in an amount to be determined in the very near future.
The rule of law prevailed in Charlottesville, Virginia today!
We would like to express our deepest gratitude to attorneys Ralph Main and Colt Puryear; to The Monument Fund’s Executive Director Jock Yellott; to Spokesperson Charles “Buddy” Weber; to the Virginia Division of the Sons of Confederate Veterans; and to each individual Plaintiff on this case.
We would also like to thank Judge Moore for his very thoughtful and careful approach to this complex and long case. Those of us fortunate enough to have sat in on the proceedings over this 2 1/2 year period appreciate his humor, patience, and intelligence - he is an asset to this community.
And, finally to you - for your monetary donations; prayers; words of encouragement; and support. You have been an invaluable resource throughout this process.
A glass raised to us all on this monumental achievement!"

Va Flaggers Launch Successful Online Store - Proceeds Helps Fund Battle Flag Projects Across the Commonwealth

Almost 5 months ago, we launched an online store, at the request of supporters, to give those who cannot attend events in the Richmond area an opportunity to purchase Va Flagger merchandise, and to help us find additional sources of funding for the care and maintenance of our existing roadside memorial battle flag sites, and construction of pending projects.

We are thrilled with the results so far and want to thank each and every one of you who has made a purchase!  We have added many items since we first launched the site and encourage you to take a look if you haven't lately.

HUGE Confederate Battle Flag Raised on Highway to Protest Vote to Remove Confederate Memorial

**NEW ROADSIDE MEMORIAL BATTLE FLAG RAISED IN PITTSBORO, NC**
On Monday, August 19, The Chatham, NC County Board of Commissioners voted 4-1 to force the removal of the Confederate monument which has stood at the historic courthouse in Pittsboro since the UDC erected in 1907 as a memorial to the county's Confederate dead. The vote was 4-1 to attempt to remove it, in violation of state law, and against the wishes of the majority of citizens of the county and the hundreds who attended the meeting and spoke in opposition.
Almost immediately, local citizens, outraged at the blatant disregard for their wishes and the attempt to desecrate their war memorial, reached out to Confederate heritage organizations and offered land to erect Confederate battle flags in response to the decision.
Today, the Old North State Flaggers, ACTBAC NC, and the Va Flaggers came together to make the first one happen and respond directly to the commissioners' vote.

This afternoon, a 10' x15' Confederate Battle Flag was raised on a 50' pole adjacent to Hwy 64 Business just one block from the town of Pittsboro. This is the first of several flag sites planned, and comes just days before a planned prayer vigil and monument rally in downtown Pittsboro, Saturday, September 14th, 11:30 a.m. - 9:00 p.m. Pittsboro Historical Courthouse. Make plans to attend and let your voice be heard!

Apparently, these folks did not pay attention to what happened in nearby Danville, Va when that city council made the mistake of removing one tiny 3x5 Confederate flag from a historical monument on the grounds of the Last Capitol of the Confederacy.
We have not yet begun to fight.
All glory to God. All honor to the Confederate soldier.

Huge Confederate Battle Flag Returns to Hartsville, SC

After a brief absence, a lengthy court battle, and a lot of hard work, the Hartsville Hwy 151 Roadside Memorial Battle Flag is back up and flying!!

The haters celebrated when it came down, underestimating the resolve and determination of our people. Special thanks to Kam Harrell and the folks at Sky High Poles for their hard work in getting it back up, and our friends at Save Southern Heritage in SC for fighting and funding the legal battle and their steadfast support.

God bless all who continue to fight, and God Save the South!

All glory to God. All honor to the Confederate soldier. #winning

Field Day of the Past Officials Ban Confederate Heritage Groups

Va Flaggers, SCV Denied Vendor Booths at Field Day of the Past Event

We are extremely disappointed to announce that the folks at Field Day of the Past are denying the Va Flaggers, The Edumnd Ruffin Fire-Eaters Camp #3000, SCV, the Army of Northern Virginia Mechanized Cavalry and the Sally Tompkins Chapter #2, Virginia Society, Order of the Confederate Rose admittance as vendors in this year's event, and have informed us that we will not be allowed to return.

The reasons have varied greatly over the past 9 months in which we have tried to work this out quietly and peacefully, with everything from the "political nature" of the battle flag to the fact that our stickers were found applied to poles and other objects, to complaints about the large flag we raised at our booth last year, to political stickers on a car parked at one of the sites given as the reason.

We did everything in our power to prevent this, addressing every legitimate complaint they came up with and even meeting with them to try and clear up the obvious miscommunications. We have always enjoyed HUGE support at this event and have done our part to promote and support it for several years now, but at this point, we can no longer do so. We are asking anyone who supports Confederate heritage to boycott this event, any participants/vendors to
pull their support, and for everyone to contact Field Day officials to let them know why you won't be attending.

Field Day of the Past, 2018. The display of this mega flag at our space was cited as one of the reasons we were denied a space this year. It looks like the handful who were offended are celebrating and giving the Field Day of the Past officials kudos for finally ending the "overtly racist display of the battle flag" at their events. Should be an interesting crowd this year.
The local media quickly picked up the story and the backlash has been swift and strong.  Vendors and other groups who support Confederate heritage have withdrawn from the event, and hundreds have pledged to boycott.

One of the many folks upset by the news was a local resident who hosts a swap meet event the same Saturday as the Field Day Event, just a few miles away, hosting over 12,000 visitors.  We received a call from the organizer, who let us know that he would be honored to have us attend their event, and set up a booth near the front entrance to make sure that all who attend know where they stand on the issue.

Come see us!

The Field Day event was not only a chance for us to meet and greet thousands of supporters and meet new ones, it also was one of our biggest fund raising events of the year.  We are thankful for the opportunity to make up at least some of that loss at the Gilmanor Farm Swap Meet and look forward to seeing some of you there.
