HUGE Confederate Battle Flag Raised on Highway to Protest Vote to Remove Confederate Memorial

**NEW ROADSIDE MEMORIAL BATTLE FLAG RAISED IN PITTSBORO, NC**
On Monday, August 19, The Chatham, NC County Board of Commissioners voted 4-1 to force the removal of the Confederate monument which has stood at the historic courthouse in Pittsboro since the UDC erected in 1907 as a memorial to the county's Confederate dead. The vote was 4-1 to attempt to remove it, in violation of state law, and against the wishes of the majority of citizens of the county and the hundreds who attended the meeting and spoke in opposition.
Almost immediately, local citizens, outraged at the blatant disregard for their wishes and the attempt to desecrate their war memorial, reached out to Confederate heritage organizations and offered land to erect Confederate battle flags in response to the decision.
Today, the Old North State Flaggers, ACTBAC NC, and the Va Flaggers came together to make the first one happen and respond directly to the commissioners' vote.

This afternoon, a 10' x15' Confederate Battle Flag was raised on a 50' pole adjacent to Hwy 64 Business just one block from the town of Pittsboro. This is the first of several flag sites planned, and comes just days before a planned prayer vigil and monument rally in downtown Pittsboro, Saturday, September 14th, 11:30 a.m. - 9:00 p.m. Pittsboro Historical Courthouse. Make plans to attend and let your voice be heard!

Apparently, these folks did not pay attention to what happened in nearby Danville, Va when that city council made the mistake of removing one tiny 3x5 Confederate flag from a historical monument on the grounds of the Last Capitol of the Confederacy.
We have not yet begun to fight.
All glory to God. All honor to the Confederate soldier.

Huge Confederate Battle Flag Returns to Hartsville, SC

After a brief absence, a lengthy court battle, and a lot of hard work, the Hartsville Hwy 151 Roadside Memorial Battle Flag is back up and flying!!

The haters celebrated when it came down, underestimating the resolve and determination of our people. Special thanks to Kam Harrell and the folks at Sky High Poles for their hard work in getting it back up, and our friends at Save Southern Heritage in SC for fighting and funding the legal battle and their steadfast support.

God bless all who continue to fight, and God Save the South!

All glory to God. All honor to the Confederate soldier. #winning

Field Day of the Past Officials Ban Confederate Heritage Groups

Va Flaggers, SCV Denied Vendor Booths at Field Day of the Past Event

We are extremely disappointed to announce that the folks at Field Day of the Past are denying the Va Flaggers, The Edumnd Ruffin Fire-Eaters Camp #3000, SCV, the Army of Northern Virginia Mechanized Cavalry and the Sally Tompkins Chapter #2, Virginia Society, Order of the Confederate Rose admittance as vendors in this year's event, and have informed us that we will not be allowed to return.

The reasons have varied greatly over the past 9 months in which we have tried to work this out quietly and peacefully, with everything from the "political nature" of the battle flag to the fact that our stickers were found applied to poles and other objects, to complaints about the large flag we raised at our booth last year, to political stickers on a car parked at one of the sites given as the reason.

We did everything in our power to prevent this, addressing every legitimate complaint they came up with and even meeting with them to try and clear up the obvious miscommunications. We have always enjoyed HUGE support at this event and have done our part to promote and support it for several years now, but at this point, we can no longer do so. We are asking anyone who supports Confederate heritage to boycott this event, any participants/vendors to
pull their support, and for everyone to contact Field Day officials to let them know why you won't be attending.

Field Day of the Past, 2018. The display of this mega flag at our space was cited as one of the reasons we were denied a space this year. It looks like the handful who were offended are celebrating and giving the Field Day of the Past officials kudos for finally ending the "overtly racist display of the battle flag" at their events. Should be an interesting crowd this year.
The local media quickly picked up the story and the backlash has been swift and strong.  Vendors and other groups who support Confederate heritage have withdrawn from the event, and hundreds have pledged to boycott.

One of the many folks upset by the news was a local resident who hosts a swap meet event the same Saturday as the Field Day Event, just a few miles away, hosting over 12,000 visitors.  We received a call from the organizer, who let us know that he would be honored to have us attend their event, and set up a booth near the front entrance to make sure that all who attend know where they stand on the issue.

The Field Day event was not only a chance for us to meet and greet thousands of supporters and meet new ones, it also was one of our biggest fund raising events of the year.  We are thankful for the opportunity to make up at least some of that loss at the Gilmanor Farm Swap Meet and look forward to seeing some of you there.

Historical Society Loses State Funding After Refusing to Remove Confederate Memorial and Flag

In Georgetown, Delaware, a beautiful Confederate monument was erected by our friends of the Delaware Grays Camp #2068, sons of Confederate Veterans, honoring Delaware citizens who fought and in some cases, died, serving the Confederacy.  The memorial also displays flags, one of which is the Confederate battle flag, the flag of the men honored.  The memorial is on private property and the Georgetown Historical Society, understanding the importance of honoring ALL veterans and ALL of their history, has refused calls in the past by the left to remove the flag.

State Democratic Senator Trey Paradee has been one of the most vocal opponents of the monument and flag.  Unable to pressure the Historical Society and museum to do his bidding, he decided to call upon the state legislature to pull ALL support of the museum in an attempt to blackmail the Georgetown Historical Society into removing the flag.  He got his way last week, when the legislature voted to terminate the $14,000 that had been set aside to help fund the museum, which is a wonderful tribute to the area’s history and heritage.

https://www.delawareonline.com/story/news/2019/07/22/confederate-flag-costs-georgetown-historical-society-14-k-state-funding/1753885001/

Paradee’s antics mean that the small, privately held museum will struggle to make ends meet and keep their doors open.   This is how the left operates.  If they can’t get their way by bullying, they resort to blackmail and extortion.

So far, the good folks of the Georgetown Historical Society have stood their ground and refused to pander to the ignorance and bigotry of this man, but they need our help.  We need to make up the $14,000 that the state of Delaware has pulled from them. There is a gofundme link listed below.  If you want to be a part of keeping that battle flag flying and the monument up, PLEASE take a moment right now to donate.  Let’s not only make up the $14,000 that was taken away…let’s do EVEN MORE!

THANK YOU ALL FOR YOUR DILIGENCE!

Now please continue to contact the Charlottesville police department at (434) 970-3280 and request an immediate and thorough investigation of the crime.

This is what happens when your city is ruled by lawlessness and disrespect. Welcome to Wes Bellamy's Charlottesville.
In the meantime, we will hire some private security to keep an eye on the monuments over the next few days, and continue our complete and total boycott of the City of Charlottesville and call on all God-fearing, law abiding, decent citizens to do the same.

Confederate Battle Flag Returns over I-95 in Fredericksburg

FREDERICKSBURG I-95 Memorial Battle Flag UPDATE!!!

Your response to our request for help was swift and generous, and we were able to hire a pole climber to replace the pulley system just days after the request was made. The work was performed FRIDAY EVENING and I am pleased to report that the massive 20’ x 30’ flag is BACK UP AND FLYING, just in time for Memorial Day, and the FIFTH anniversary of her dedication over Memorial Day weekend in 2014.

A supporter sent the above photos from over the holiday weekend and reported that on several occasions traffic was backed up over 5 miles over the stretch of highway that includes the flag, giving thousands of motorists a good eyeful of our beautiful Southern Cross!

God bless each and every one of you whose generous support made this happen so quickly. May she forever wave in honor and memory of our Confederate dead and in defiance of those who wish to remove every trace of our history and heritage.

All glory to God.
All honor to the Confederate soldier.
It's not about us.
