Three Virginia localities had monument relocation/removal referendums on their ballot yesterday. In all three localities, the citizens sent a strong clear message that they do not want their memorials removed. Each locality voted overwhelmingly AGAINST monument removal.

Richmond is abusing the purpose of public monuments. Around the world, from all cultures, public monuments are erected for the purpose of memorializing (i.e., remembering) the persons so memorialized and the deeds and accomplishments that made them memorable.
CONFEDERATE AIR FORCE FLIES AGAIN!
Just a few days after Governor Northam tore down the magnificent Robert
E. Lee memorial on Monument Avenue, the Virginia Flaggers took to the
air with a message for NASCAR fans and Richmond citizens, and the governor himself.
For
three hours, an airplane buzzed the NASCAR race at RIR and
downtown
Richmond, pulling a large banner that read GOD BLESS ROBERT E LEE, with a
giant Confederate Battle Flag.
Reports from the raceway tell us that fans cheered in appreciation, and social media lit up quickly with photos, videos, and posts of both appreciation...and wringing of hands and gnashing of teeth by leftists who thought the removal of the monument meant they would never see the name Robert E. Lee again, nor hear from monument supporters again.
Apparently, they were very wrong.
